Providence Academy’s First Week Update: Welcoming Our School Family
Monday’s Meet the Teacher and Family Picnic
We experienced an incredible launch to our new school year. During our Providence Academy’s first week, campus was overflowing with joy and energy.
On Monday, families gathered on campus for our Meet the Teacher event and family picnic. Consequently, a wonderful buzz filled the hallways as students reconnected with friends and teachers. Children explored their new classrooms with great anticipation. Furthermore, parents enjoyed catching up with old friends while welcoming new faces to our community. The evening picnic was a joyful celebration of returning to campus together.
A Joyful First Day of School
The excitement continued right into our official first day of school. Faculty and staff greeted students with warm smiles as cars arrived for drop-off. Additionally, our campus team made sure every family felt welcomed and supported.
We loved seeing both new and returning families fill our school with laughter. For example, younger students happily found their classrooms with big smiles. Meanwhile, older students greeted their teachers excitedly in the hallways. Overall, God blessed us with a smooth and uplifting beginning to our academic year.
Centered on Proverbs 3:5-6
Most importantly, we are grounding our entire school year in Scripture. Specifically, our community is focusing on our Annual Bible Verse, Proverbs 3:5-6. This powerful passage reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts.
As a school, this verse will be tied into everything we do throughout the year. For instance, teachers will integrate these verses into daily classroom lessons and spiritual growth.
Starting a new school year is always a special milestone for our school community. Ultimately, this Providence Academy’s first week set a wonderful foundation for the year ahead. We look forward to watching our students grow academically and spiritually every single day.
