Providence Academy Music Studio: Dramatic Flair and Recorder Sight-Reading

Preparing for Veterans Day in 3rd Grade

Our lower school musicians are filling the halls with rhythm and enthusiasm this week. Through our Providence Academy music class, students develop confidence and musical expression across grade levels.

For example, third graders are actively rehearsing for our upcoming Veterans Day program. The students bring vibrant expression and dramatic flair to every song they practice. Afterward, their joyful energy helps prepare a moving tribute for our honored guests.

Independent Sight-Reading in 4th Grade

Meanwhile, fourth graders are tackling new musical challenges in recorder class. Students are currently participating in self-guided sight-reading exercises on their instruments.

In addition, working independently allows students to read musical notation at their own pace. This hands-on practice builds rhythm skills, pitch recognition, and self-assurance.

Our Providence Academy music class inspires children to glorify God through their growing talents. We look forward to seeing these young performers shine at our upcoming school events!
