Joyful Expression in Our Music Classes

Music plays a vital role in praising God across our school campus. Through our Providence Academy music program, students learn to worship through sound and rhythm. Most importantly, children develop their musical gifts while discovering the joy of praising our Lord.

Hands-On Learning in First and Third Grade

Our elementary students have been busy with exciting hands-on music activities this week. For example, our first grade students used their imaginations while playing music with egg shakers. Their creative energy brought so much laughter and excitement to the music room.

Additionally, our third grade students used percussion instruments to learn about reading rhythm notes. Consequently, these interactive tools helped students grasp important musical concepts quickly. Be sure to look at the wonderful photos from these classes attached to this post!

Praising God Through Song and Instrument

Scripture encourages us to praise God with instruments and joyful sounds. Furthermore, our music curriculum directly connects with our Annual Bible Verse, Proverbs 3:5-6. Specifically, as students learn to trust God with all their hearts, they freely share their creative gifts.
