Reading Clues and Decoding Vocabulary
Students in our Providence Academy Spanish class participated in an exciting clue-finding adventure. Every single clue throughout the challenge was written entirely in Spanish.
Working in small groups, students read each clue and identified familiar vocabulary words. Next, they combined key details to figure out where to go next.
Scaffolding Through Teamwork and Collaboration
Teamwork provided a helpful scaffold for every learner along the way. For example, one student might recognize a key vocabulary word.
Meanwhile, another student connected that word to a specific clue or detail. Together, the children built a shared understanding and supported one another.
Building Language Skills and Confidence
This interactive game encouraged reading comprehension and creative problem-solving. In addition, collaboration gave students a meaningful opportunity to use their Spanish skills.
