Providence Grandparents Association: A Heartwarming Gathering

Fellowship and Connection Across Generations

Earlier this week, an amazing group of grandparents joined together on campus for a wonderful time of fellowship. Through the Providence Grandparents Association, these valued family members play an essential role in our school community.

Head of School Janet M. Hale opened the meeting with a warm welcome and prayer. Afterward, she shared an overview of both our parent and grandparent associations.

Partnering in Purpose and Prayer

The Providence Grandparents Association exists to engage grandparents through prayer, fellowship, and encouragement. During the meeting, leaders Ed and Jean Anfindsen helped facilitate introductions and shared exciting plans for the year ahead.

Grandparents learned about upcoming meeting schedules, P.R.I.D.E. Weekly events, and Wednesday Chapel services. In addition, attendees discussed opportunities to share their time, talents, treasures, and wisdom to support our school.

Rooted in Faith

To wrap up the gathering, grandparents participated in a group activity centered on scripture. The group reflected on Proverbs 3:5–6, which reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts.

We are deeply grateful for the prayerful support and wisdom our grandparents bring to Providence Academy. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this uplifting morning!
